Special Memories
Darrell was born on September 29, 1948 in Marinette, Wisconsin. Darrell was one of 12 siblings born to Kenneth and Elizabeth Pape.
Darrell served 4 years in the Navy, including spending time on the USS Yosemite. While on the Yosemite Darrell was close friends with Jerry McWaters (Secretary of the Yosemite Association) and even asked Jerry to go on a blind date with him and his girlfriend - the blind date turned out to be Paulette, Jerry's wife of 41 years.
Darrell passed away on December 16, 2006 at the age of 58 in Houston, TX.
